Let’s just worship only one God, for Abraham only worship one God too:
“They say: “Become Jews or Christians if ye would be guided (to salvation).” Say thou: “Nay! (I would rather) the Religion of Abraham, the True, and he joined not gods with Allah.” [Quran 2:135]
“Abraham was not a Jew nor yet a Christian; but he was true in Faith, and bowed his will to Allah’s (which is Islam), and he joined not gods with Allah.” [Quran Ali Imran:67]
God does not forgive the sin of joining other gods with Him:
“Allah forgiveth not (the sin of) joining other gods with Him; but He forgiveth whom He pleaseth other sins than this: one who joins other gods with Allah, hath, strayed far, far away (from the Right).” [Quran An Nisaa:115]
Don’t worship more than one God:
“Allah has said: “Take not (for worship) two gods: for He is just One God: then fear Me (and Me alone).” [Quran An Nahl:51]
If there is a God beside Allah, then there will be chaos and confussion:
“Say: if there had been (other) gods with Him, – as they say – behold, they would certainly have sought out a way to the Lord of the Throne!” [Quran Al Isra:42]
“If there were, in the heavens and the earth, other gods besides Allah, there would have been confusion in both! But glory to Allah, the Lord of the Throne: (High is He) above what they attribute to Him!” [Quran Al Anbiyaa:22]
“No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have Lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him!” [Quran Al Mu’minuun:91]
